Yampa Valley Airport (HDN) & Atlantic FBO

The Yampa Valley Regional Airport is a short 35 minute ride. During winter conditions plan on an extra 15 minutes. The regional airport is rather small and staffed for average passenger flow. During the peak winter season their staff recommends arriving 2 hours before boarding. There is a full service restaurant/bar in the airport so arrive early and relax!

We'll track your incoming flight so we can greet you when you arrive. Deplaning and claiming your baggage takes about 20 minutes. If you have ski/board gear checked that can take an additional 10 minutes. 

We'll help gather your baggage an shuttle it to the vehicle so we can get you to your destination. 

Because most visitors coming to Steamboat have ski or snowboard gear the incoming/outgoing flights have 3 times more luggage than other destinations. This can cause issues when making a connecting flight. You may make it to Steamboat but your luggage does not. It is left at your connecting location because the airplane is overloaded. We can help you in the event this occurs. Take a photo of each of your bags to help us locate it when it arrives!
